How much does it cost?
For only $5 a week, you can be part of the incredible PFS community and have access to all the tools needed to improve in your chosen sport. That’s $5 per week for your, pilates workouts, technique videos, training drills and athlete analysis, plus support from our team of experts.
Am I locked in to a contract?
There are no contracts. When you join, you’ll be subscribing to a recurring $5 per week fitness program membership. Your membership will automatically renew every 7 days. Remember, you can opt out at any time. We process payments every 7 days, so make sure you unsubscribe at any time before each 7 day period ends to avoid being charged. To unsubscribe go to your ‘Settings’ page in the top right hand toolbar of your program and opt out.
Your PFS membership is totally in your control.
How long do I have access for?
There are four challenges and each runs for 10 weeks. You’ll have access to all four 10 week challenges on an on-going basis so long as you maintain your weekly payments. After the first challenge is completed, a new 10 week challenge will commence. Spoiler alert: It keeps getting better.
How do I access my program?
Simply head to 10pfs.com on your mobile phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer and enter your login details. You’ll find your workout and technique videos for the week under: CATEGORIES - Challenge 1, 2, 3, or 4 and then SUB CATEGORIES - WEEK 1 & 2, etc.....
What help is available?
One thing we pride ourselves on here at Pilates For Sports is our supportive nature, you’ll have daily support from the crew and our team of experts. Email us at [email protected] someone will respond to you within 24 hours.
How do I join?
You can join by clicking the blue ‘Join Now’ button at the top of this page. We can’t wait to have you as part of our PFS family.
Will I be doing this alone?
No way – when you join 10PFS, you become part of our incredible extended family. You will have daily support from our crew, our team of experts and others just like yourself.
What are the workouts?
Each fortnight, you get a fresh new workout and technique video, plus drills. Each workout consists of warm up exercises, power and stability, along with flexibility, that have all been designed to help improve your performance.
How long do I need for the exercises?
Just 30 minutes is all it takes on average for each workout.
What do I need for the exercises?
All you need to do your 10PFS workouts are:
a device (mobile phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer) to stream your videos
a stable internet connection
We also recommend you get your hands on an exercise mat, some light resistance weights/dumbbells, a magic circle and theraband.
I’m unfit, will 10PFS be suitable for me?
10PFS has been designed to suit all fitness levels and abilities. Whether you’re experienced in pilates or not, our workouts are easy to follow and will be appropriate for you.
I’m injured, can I do this?
If you are diabetic, have a medical condition, an injury or a physical disability, you should consult your doctor or other health care professional before starting this program.
I’m pregnant, can I do this?
We recommend that if you are pregnant not to undertake the workouts in the 10PFS Challenge.
When/where do I train?
Wherever and whenever suits you. This is what our customers love the most about our program. It doesn’t matter what you look like or what is on your feet. You can do 10PFS in the comfort of your own home at any time that fits your routine.
If you do not wish to continue with 10PFS simply cancel your membership prior to day 7 and you will not be charged. If you are committed to going faster and want to reap the benefits of the 10week challenge no further action is required - your credit card will be billed $5.00 per week and every fortnight you will receive a new workout that has been specifically designed to build on what you practiced previously.
When Challenge 1 - to achieve a smooth pedal stroke is complete, you will move on to Challenge 2 - Power Transfer and so on. Once you have committed to the challenge and made a payment you will also be able to submit an athlete analysis - this is a fabulous features where you can send in video footage of yourself cycling and one of our specialists will provide you with feedback on your technique.
How often do I receive a new workout?
A new workout will be delivered every fortnight.
Our workouts use:
- a mat, foam roller, theraband, light had weights and a magic (Pilates circle)
This equipment is available at most large sports stores though it may sometimes have a different name ie magic circle, Pilates ring etc. You can do the workouts without this apparatus however we do recommend having the equipment if possible.
You can cancel your membership at anytime and no further charges will be applied
If you wish to cancel your 10PFS membership, log in to your account.
1. Go to your dashboard
2. Select settings
3. Select Credit Card info, and choose to:
A) remove card and cancel all subscriptions, or
B) cancel 10PFS Cycling
The Athlete Analysis is a very valuable tool. Simply send us some video footage of you cycling and one of our team will provide you with feedback about your style. Set yourself up on a trainer and provide us with the following cycling footage from the front, back and side:
-basic pedalling
-accelerating to a sprint
-getting up out of the saddle and then standing cycling. 20 seconds in each position is all we need.
We will then provide you with feedback on your technique and your challenge then is to use Pilates to help you to improve on any areas that need work. For example, if it appears that your pelvic stability on the bike needs work, then pay extra attention to achieving pelvic stability in all of your workouts. This feature is available if continue with your membership after the free trial period has ended.
We recommend you establish a performance benchmark, which you can compare with over the coming weeks. So, before you start anything we would like you to conduct the following test.
Select a familiar route that you might cycle on a regular basis and determine the average speed achieved over the last 3 trips. If you don't have this information, identify a ride that you could use and then record the information over the coming days. We suggest you complete the ride alone, as riding in a group can affect the outcome.
